Pre & POST OP PHysiotherapy

Pre Op Physiotherapy

Surgery may be a new experience to most of us and it is crucial to be prepared both mentally and physically so that the journey to recovery post surgery will be more smooth and easier.

The pre-op physiotherapy session will comprise of strengthening the affected area and there will be heavy emphasis on education by our physiotherapist. It’s helpful to understand what actually happens in the surgery, where you will feel the discomfort afterwards, etc.

Going into the surgery with less anxiety and stronger muscles and joints will help your overall recovery and will give you a better outlook post surgery.

Post Op Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is required to assist recovery following an orthopedic surgery. Our physiotherapists prescribe exercises to strengthen your muscles and regain movement, flexibility and balance following surgery, which is essential to optimise your results.

We assist you in progressing from your first few steps of walking up till returning to pre-surgery fitness and function in the quickest time. You can think about your soccer players recovering from an ACL reconstruction to even your Ah-Gongs recovering from a Total Knee Replacement.
