This is for you
if…
The right fit

You're rehabbing an injury and need a return-to-sport plan, not just pain relief
You're a weekend athlete tired of the same recurring niggle
You're preparing for an event and want your body ready
You're post-op and need a phased plan back to competitive load
You're coaching or training others and want a physio who understands your sport

Rebuild the movement.
Then the load.
The approach
Sports physiotherapy at The Rehab Lab Plus starts with a biomechanical read — how you move under load, what compensates, where the chain breaks. We treat the mechanics driving the injury, then progressively load the tissue and sport-specific patterns back in. Delivered by AHPC-registered and licensed physiotherapists in Farrer Park, sequenced for your sport. For post-op cases, see our post-surgery rehab page.
The difference between “rested and hoping” and “reloaded and ready.”
What you
leave with.
Outcomes
A body that returns to sport, not one that rests from it
Better movement efficiency and biomechanics
A clear injury-prevention framework for your sport
Progressive strength and mobility to match your load
Confidence in the tissue that failed

Before you book.
Sports physiotherapy treats athletic injuries and prepares the body for sport-specific load. We use running gait analysis, sport-specific movement screens, and progressive return-to-sport programming — on top of the manual therapy and rehab you'd expect from any physio. It's rehabilitation and performance.
No. Sports physio suits anyone active — weekend warriors, gym-goers, runners, hikers, casual footballers. If you train, we can help.
Yes. Post-ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, rotator cuff, shoulder labrum, and more. We work with your surgeon's protocol and progress you through early mobility, mid-stage strength, and late-stage return-to-sport testing. See our post-surgery rehab page.
As soon as reasonable — within 1–3 days is ideal. Early management controls swelling, prevents stiffness, and shortens total recovery time.
Yes. Running gait analysis, throwing/serving mechanics, jumping and landing patterns — we identify the inefficiencies costing you speed, power, or safety. Many patients see us for this reason alone.
